This Magento 2 Shipping Restrictions extension is a software module that allows you to restrict the application of shipping methods based on specific conditions. This conditions may be based on cart item attributes such as cart price, cart qty, cart row total and product attributes such as category, material, gift card value, SKU etc.. This extension is compatible with any shipping method.

Installation Steps

Buyers will get a Zip file, they have to unzip / extract the file to their system. The uncompressed folder will have a folder called Scriptzol and you need to transfer the Scriptzol folder to your Magento 2 root directory /app/code/.

After the successful transfer, buyers have to run the following commands in the Magento 2 root directory with the help of terminal.

• php bin/magento setup: upgrade
• php bin/magento setup: di:compile
• php bin/magento setup: static-content:deploy

After the commands running successfully, need to flush the cache in admin panel.

Configuration Steps

Multiple Languages

To configure in multiple languages, Under Store > Configuration > General > Locale in admin panel , select the language which needed.

Translation of Languages

For translation of the content in the module, In the app/code/Scriptzol/ShippingRestriction/i18n folder, need to add the file. To add a file for specific language, for eg.arabic for Saudi Arabia, ar_SA.csv is the file name format.

Left side of the column is the original content, right side contains translations.

General Config

Admin can enable / disable the extension in general configuration. They can used this config to show error message or disable shipping method.

Add New Rule - Basic

In this tab under Add page, admin can set title, status and shipping methods for the rule.

Add New Rule - Conditions

In conditions tab, admin can add cart rule conditions and product attribute conditions.

Add New Rule - Store and Usergroup

With this option, admin can apply for particular store and usergroup.

Add New Rule - Day and Time

In this option, admin can set for particular day and time.

Rules - List

Once added, it will be loaded under the list page.

Output

As per the configuration and settings, output will be shown on frontend.
